aniSearch voting 2022: Vote for your favourites of the year!

After a one-year break, this year, you can finally once again choose the aniSearch anime series of the year, anime movie of the year and Miss & Mister aniSearch of the year 2022. And we even brought a surprise in the form of a new voting category: the best anime sequel of the year! You decide who will knock the 2020 winners – Chizuru Ichinose (Miss aniSearch), Anos Voldigoad (Mister aniSearch), “Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.” (anime series of the year), and “Weathering with You” (anime movie of the year) – off the throne and take the new spot on the pedestal!
Our new concept:

Anime series:
- The anime series must have been released in 2022 (Japanese release date) and be of the type TV series or Web.
- Long-running anime – those that launched in 2021 and earlier and ran past the turn of the year – are not eligible.
- The anime movie must have been released in 2022 (German release date).
- The film must be no less than 90 minutes.
- Sequel as well as prequel movies are allowed.
- The sequel must have been released in 2022 (Japanese release date).
- The prequel must not have been released in 2022, such as “Spy x Family (Cour 2)”, but must have been released in 2021 or earlier.
- The character must have its first appearance in a series or movie with a start date in 2022. (For TV series, the Japanese start date still applies; for movies, the German start date applies).
- Manga and light novel characters are not eligible for this election.
