Die US-Ausgabe des bekannten Anime- Manga-Magazins wird eingestellt.

Der amerikanische Publisher ADV Films USA wird die Newtype USA nach der Februar Ausgabe 2008 einstellen.


Die Newtype USA ist der englischsprachige Pendant zum gleichnamigen Bestseller-Magazin in Japan.
Das Magazin enthielt News, Reviews und Manga-Kapitel. Außerdem enthielt das Magazin noch Poster, Gimmicks und Postkarten.

Wäre vielleicht gut, noch hinzuzufügen, dass ADV laut einer Email an die Abonnenten nicht beabsichtigt, die Anime-Magazin-Sparte einfach komplett zu streichen. Mitte März soll das Nachfolgermagazin zu Newtype USA, "PiQ" erscheinen, dass neben Anime und Manga auch Videospiele und sonstige Pop Culture-Themen behandeln wird.

Also ist der Grund eher die Herausgabe eines neuen, ähnlichen Magazins. Dann is ja gut. ^^
