Funimation licenses D-Frag! School Club Anime

Anime is going to premiere on January 7.
 Source: ANN | Funimation announced on Friday that it will simulcast the D-Frag! TV Anime. The Anime is based on Tomoya Haruno's Manga and Seiki Sugawara (Amnesia, Yozakura Quartet) is making the direction. The anime will be animated by Brains Base (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Rosario to Vampire Capu 2). The Anime will air on TV Tokyo. The manga was launched in 2008 in Monthly Comic Alive magazine and the eigth volume was released in Japan on December 21. The manga is published in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. DescriptionOne day, Kenji Kazama unexpectedly stumbles across a "game-making club" (working title) with club president Roka Shibasaki (game attribute: flame/darkness), club member and student council president Chitose Karasuyama (attribute: ground), club member and first-year student Sakura Mizukami (attribute: water), and club adviser/second-year teacher Minami Ohsawa (attribute: lightning).
