Alice in Borderland: Season 2 (2022)

“Alice in Borderland” enters the second round and continues the card search of Ryouhei Arisu and his friends. Now that they have got hold of all the number cards, the second stage starts for the players in Borderland, for they have to collect the face cards Jack, Queen, and King. But the first face card, that of the King of Spades, already poses a big problem: the rules of the game are not explained, and the playing field seems to be the whole city. In addition, Arisu, Usagi, Kuina and Tatta are separated from Ann and Chishiya.

To escape the King of Spades and get answers to their questions, they decide to join the game of the King of Clubs, Ginji Kyuma. Together with an enemy they thought dead, they compete in a team game against the king and his team. Will they manage to win the game, find out who created this world, and how to return to the real world?

»Alice in Borderland« geht in die zweite Runde und setzt die Kartensuche von Ryouhei Arisu und seinen Freunden fort. Da sie nun die ganzen Zahlenkarten ergattert haben, startet die zweite Stage für die Spieler in Borderland. Jetzt heißt es, die Bildkarten Bube, Dame und König zu sammeln. Doch bereits die erste Bildkarte, die des Pik-Königs, stellt ein großes Problem dar: Die Spielregeln werden nicht erklärt und das Spielfeld scheint die ganze Stadt zu sein. Zudem werden Arisu, Usagi, Kuina und Tatta von Ann und Chishiya getrennt.

Um dem Pik-König zu entkommen und Antworten auf ihre Fragen zu bekommen, entschließen sie sich, dem Spiel des Kreuz-Königs Ginji Kyuma beizutreten. Zusammen mit einem totgeglaubten Feind treten sie in einem Teamspiel gegen den König und sein Team an. Werden sie es schaffen, das Spiel zu gewinnen und so herauszufinden, wer diese Welt erschaffen hat und wie man in die richtige Welt zurückkehrt?
