After moving to the quiet town of Hinamizawa, Keiichi Maebara spends most of his time at school with his friends. However, appearances are deceptive. His quiet life is disturbed by a news report of murders in the town. Because of this news and some terrible incidents, he can no longer trust even his school friends.

Chronologically, this manga is the second part of the manga series and deals with the lives of Mion and Shion Sonozaki.
Nachdem Keiichi Maebara in die ruhige Stadt Hinamizawa gezogen ist, verbringt er seine meiste Zeit mit seinen Freunden in der Schule. Der Schein trügt allerdings. Sein ruhiges Leben wird von einer Nachricht gestört, die von Morden in der Stadt berichtet. Wegen dieser Nachricht und einiger schrecklicher Vorfälle kann er sogar seinen Schulfreunden nicht mehr vertrauen.

Dieser Manga ist chronologisch der zweite Teil der Manga-Reihe und behandelt das Leben von Mion und Shion Sonozaki.
