I Got Caught Up in a Hero Summons, but the Other World Was at Peace! (2019)

When Kaito Miyama mistakenly is summoned into an unknown fantasy world together with the real “hero”, he can see how the isekai-plot-tropes are playing out in front of his eyes. But in this new world, the evil demon lord was already defeated years ago and now peace reigns. The hero only has to fulfil ceremonial duties and since it’s not even Kaito’s task, he can explore the world to his heart’s content and return home anytime. All this sounds almost too good to be true, and when more and more powerful creatures gather around him, Kaito starts to wonder if maybe there is something happening in the background.

Als Kaito Miyama versehentlich gemeinsam mit dem echten »Helden« in eine fremde Fantasywelt beschworen wird, sieht er schon, wie sich der typische Isekai-Plot vor ihm ausbreitet. Doch in dieser Welt wurde der gefürchtete Dämonenkönig bereits vor vielen Jahren besiegt und es herrscht Frieden. Die Rolle des Helden hat lediglich zeremonielle Bedeutung und da das sowieso nicht seine Aufgabe ist, kann er die Welt erkunden, wie es ihm gefällt, und nach Hause zurückzukehren, wann immer er will. All das klingt fast zu gut, um wahr zu sein, und als sich immer mehr mächtige Wesen um ihn herum versammeln, fragt Kaito sich, ob nicht noch etwas anderes im Hintergrund geschieht.
