Estamos en un mundo donde abundan los superhéroes (y los supervillanos). Los mejores humanos son entrenados en la Academia de Héroes para optimizar sus poderes. Entre la minoría normal, sin poder alguno, aparece Izuku Midoriya, dispuesto a ser una excepción y formarse en la Academia para convertirse en un héroe.
People are not all the same from birth. Izuku Midoriya, who was four years old at the time, realised this when he was bullied by his classmates, who all have superpowers. Izuku is one of the few people born without superpowers. However, this fate has not stopped him from pursuing his dream – the dream of becoming a great superhero like his idol All Might. To become a hero, he is determined to join a hero school – the most prestigious hero school in the entire country, UA High School. With the help of his idol All Might, he now tries to get accepted into the school and become a great superhero.
Menschen sind von Geburt an nicht alle gleich. Das hat der damals vierjährige Izuku Midoriya mitbekommen, als er von seinen Mitschülern, die alle Superkräfte besitzen, gemobbt wurde. Izuku gehört zu den wenigen Menschen, die ohne Superkräfte geboren wurden. Dieses Schicksal hat ihn jedoch nicht daran gehindert, seinen Traum zu verfolgen – den Traum, ein großer Superheld zu werden wie der legendäre Held All Might. Um ein Held zu werden, möchte er unbedingt einer Heldenschule beitreten – und zwar der angesehensten Heldenschule im gesamten Land. Mit der Hilfe seines Idols All Might versucht er nun, in der Schule angenommen und zu einem großartigen Superhelden zu werden.

In un mondo in cui essere supereroi è la normalità, nascere senza particolari poteri equivale a una vera e propria disgrazia! Izuku Midoriya dovrà mettercela tutta per ottenere un superpotere, e nonostante l’impresa sembri impossibile qualcuno finirà per notare le sue capacità … Tutto è cominciato con la notizia della nascita di un «bambino luminoso», e da quel momento la Terra si è popolata di «Heroes», comportando un riassetto globale di ogni aspetto della vita … Come sarà la scuola in un mondo del genere?!
