In the year 844, the legendary thief Levi lives in the Underworld together with his comrades-in-arms Isabel and Furlan. Im Jahr 844 lebt der legendäre Dieb Levi gemeinsam mit seinen Mitstreitern Isabel und Furlan in der Unterwelt. So nennt man die unterirdische Stadt, die sich noch innerhalb der Mauern und unter der königlichen Hauptstadt mehrere Kilometer weit erstreckt. In ihr hausen Arme, Ausgestoßene und Gauner. Levi, Isabel und Furlan schlagen sich an diesem hoffnungslosen Ort mit Raubzügen durchs Leben. Die drei setzen dabei gestohlene 3D-Manöver-Ausrüstungen ein, mit der sie sich schnell und agil durch die Lüfte bewegen. Die gleichen Geräte benutzt auch der Aufklärungstrupp im Kampf gegen die Titanen außerhalb der Mauern Maria. Als der Abteilungsführer Erwin Smith des Aufklärungstrupps auf Levis Bande aufmerksam wird, kesselt er sie eines Tages mithilfe von erfahrenen Soldaten gezielt ein und macht ihnen ein Angebot: Lebt ein Leben unter der Sonne, tretet dem Aufklärungstrupp bei und all eure Verbrechen sind gesühnt …
