VIZ Media, LLC is a Japanese-American manga, anime and entertainment company headquartered in San Francisco. The company was founded in 1986 by Seiji Hiribuchi as VIZ LLC in San Francisco. In 2005, VIZ LLC merged with ShoPro Entertainment and was renamed VIZ Media, LLC.

In the course of this, the Japanese companies Shueisha, Shougakukan and Shougakukan-Shueisha Productions (ShoPro) took a stake in Viz Media, which became a subsidiary of this group of companies. The sister company is Viz Media Europe, which has its headquarters in Paris.
