Studio Kyuuma was a Japanese animation studio specializing in finishing and special effects, founded in 1977 by former employees of Studio DEEN. The name Kyuuma (九魔 = “9 demons”) refers to the nine people in the founding cast, which also took place in Kyuushu. Not to be confused with Studio KUMA.

In December 2017, the Representative Director of Studio Kyuuma passed away, and as a result, the company went bankrupt. Together with its subsidiary AAP (Asian Animation Partners), which was also heavily in debt, Kyuuma merged to form a new animation studio called Giga Production.

Studio Kyuuma war ein japanisches Animationsstudio, spezialisiert auf Finishing und Special Effects, welches 1977 von ehemaligen Mitarbeitern des Studio DEEN gegründet wurde. Der Name Kyuuma (九魔 = „9 Dämonen“) bezieht sich auf die neun Personen der Gründungsbesetzung, welche zudem in Kyuushu stattfand. Nicht zu verwechseln mit Studio KUMA.

Im Dezember 2017 verstarb der Representative Director von Studio Kyuuma und infolgedessen ging das Unternehmen bankrott. Zusammen mit seinem Tochterunternehmen AAP (Asian Animation Partners), das ebenfalls hoch verschuldet war, fusionierte Kyuuma zu einem neuen Animationsstudio mit dem Namen Giga Production.
