Trinity Seven (2014)

17-year-old Arata Kasuga lives a completely normal life in a small town with his cousin and childhood friend Hijiri Kasuga. However, this changes one day when the magician Lilith Asami appears and claims that the town Arata lived in no longer exists because it was destroyed in a so-called “Breakdown Phenomenon”. During the destruction, Hijiri gave him a Grimoire that created this illusory town for him. Lilith gives Arata a choice: Either he hands over the Grimoire or he will die.

Arata, however, decides on a third option: Since he already has a Grimoire, he wants to become a magician, no matter how small the chances are. To do so, he must first master his magical skills, and so Lilith takes him to her academy, the Royal Biblia Academy. There, Arata quickly becomes a celebrity after it is determined that he is a candidate for becoming the Demon Lord due to his devil magic. He soon makes the acquaintance of the school’s seven strongest female mages, the Trinity Seven – masters in their respective fields of magic and destined to meet the Demon Lord.

Der 17-jährige Arata Kasuga lebt mit seiner Cousine und Kindheitsfreundin Hijiri Kasuga ein ganz normales Leben in einer gewöhnlichen Stadt. Dies ändert sich jedoch eines Tages, als die Magierin Lilith Asami auftaucht und behauptet, die Stadt, in der Arata gelebt hat, existiere nicht mehr, weil sie bei einem sogenannten Breakdown-Phänomen zerstört wurde. Während der Zerstörung übergab ihm Hijiri ein Zauberbuch, das die Scheinstadt für ihn erschaffen hat. Lilith stellt Arata vor die Wahl: Entweder rückt er das Zauberbuch heraus oder er wird sterben.

Arata entscheidet sich jedoch für eine dritte Möglichkeit: Da er schließlich schon ein Zauberbuch besitzt, will er ein Magier werden, egal wie gering die Chancen dafür sind. Dafür muss er erst einmal seine magischen Fähigkeiten meistern, und so nimmt ihn Lilith mit an ihre Akademie, die Königliche Biblia-Schule. Dort wird Arata schnell zu einer Berühmtheit, nachdem festgestellt worden ist, dass er auf Grund seiner Teufelsmagie ein Anwärter für den Dämonenlord ist. Bald macht er Bekanntschaft mit den sieben stärksten Magierinnen der Schule, den Trinity Seven – Meisterinnen auf ihrem jeweiligen Gebiet der Magie und dazu bestimmt, den Dämonenlord zu treffen.
