Barakamon (2014)

Sinopsis:
La historia se centra en la vida de Seishuu Handa, un calígrafo de 23 años de edad, quien se muda a la remota Isla Goto.En dicha isla nuestro protagonista se relacionara con la gente que habita en dicho lugar, con costumbres muy diferentes a la que conoce (ya que toda su vida había vivido en la ciudad).

Seishuu Handa is a young, quite successful calligrapher. During an exhibition in which he wins first place, the curator of the exhibition tries to motivate him to develop a more personal style. However, he misinterprets the well-intentioned advice as personal criticism and slaps the curator in the face. By mutual agreement, his father then sends him to stay on Gotou Island (Nagasaki Prefecture) for inspiration and to give his writing new impetus.

His plan of a quiet, concentrated working stay is thwarted as soon as he arrives, however, because the local population is not shy about integrating the newcomer into their community. Especially for the seven-year-old neighbour girl Naru, he is the island’s new attraction, as she is always on the lookout for games, fun, adventures and new experiences.

Seishuu Handa ist ein junger, recht erfolgreicher Kalligraph. Während einer Ausstellung, bei der er den ersten Platz belegt, versucht ihn der Kurator der Ausstellung dazu zu motivieren, einen etwas persönlicheren Stil zu entwickeln. Den gut gemeinten Ratschlag missversteht er jedoch als persönlich gemeinte Kritik worauf er den Kurator ins Gesicht schlägt. Im gegenseitigen Einverständnis schickt sein Vater ihn daraufhin zu einem Aufenthalt auf die Insel Gotou (Präfektur Nagasaki), um sich dort inspirieren zu lassen und seiner Schreibkunst neue Impulse zu geben.

Sein Plan eines ruhigen, konzentrierten Arbeitsaufenthalts wird jedoch schon gleich bei seiner Ankunft durchkreuzt, denn die lokale Bevölkerung hat keine Scheu den Neuling in ihre Gemeinschaft zu integrieren. Besonders für das siebenjährige Nachbarsmädchen Naru ist er die neue Attraktion der Insel, ist sie doch stets auf der Suche nach Spiel, Spaß, Abenteuern und neuen Erfahrungen.
