Strawberry 100%: Please Come and Get Me! (2005)

Yui has passed the entrance exam for Oumi Academy and wants to go back to her parents to get her things and then move in with her childhood friend Junpei, whose family lives near her school, until further notice.

A few days later, however, Junpei receives a phone call from Yui’s father, who tells him that Yui is not allowed to stay with the boy under any circumstances – and that his daughter has also run away from home!
Junpei therefore tries to find out where Yui is and what happened between the girl and her parents.

Annotation:
“Strawberry 100%: Please Come and Get Me!” is a side story to the original series, originally planned as the final TV episode, but never aired on TV. It takes place chronologically between the two OVA episodes 1 and 2 and corresponds to the manga chapters 71 to 73 in terms of content.

Yui hat die Aufnahmeprüfung für die Oumi Academy bestanden und will zurück zu ihren Eltern fahren, um ihre Sachen zu holen und anschließend bis auf Weiteres bei ihrem Kindheitsfreund Junpei einzuziehen, dessen Familie in der Nähe ihrer Schule wohnt.

Ein paar Tage danach erhält Junpei jedoch einen Telefonanruf von Yuis Vater, der ihm mitteilt, dass Yui auf keinen Fall bei dem Jungen wohnen dürfe – und dass seine Tochter zudem von zu Hause weggelaufen sei!
Junpei versucht daher, herauszufinden, wo Yui steckt und was zwischen dem Mädchen und ihren Eltern vorgefallen ist.

»Strawberry 100%: Please Come and Get Me!« stellt eine Seitengeschichte zur Serie dar, die ursprünglich als letzte TV-Episode geplant war, aber nie im Fernsehen ausgestrahlt wurde. Sie spielt chronologisch zwischen den beiden OVA-Episoden 1 und 2 und entspricht inhaltlich den Manga-Kapiteln 71 bis 73.
