Digimon Frontier (2002)

“Digimon” goes into the fourth round – with new characters and new Digimon! However, this time the humans don’t have a Digimon partner but digitise into a Digimon themselves. Takuya, Koji, J.P., Tommy and Zoe are driven from the human world to the Digiworld by Trailmons. Beforehand, the five have received a message from a woman’s voice and have been “lured” to the Digiworld.

Right at the Digiworld station, they run into Bokomon and Neemon. The two Digimon are pursued by an evil Digimon, looking for a “Spirit” and attacking the four humans. At that moment, a Spirit, the Spirit of Fire, appears, and Takuya can digitise into Agunimon. The wild Digimon now has no chance and can be defeated. After another fight, they meet Koji, who stays with the group after a few more meetings.

The five friends are sent further and further by the woman’s voice from the mobile phone and now have the task of saving the Digiworld, as each of the five possesses a “Spirit” of one of the ten Legendary Digi-Warriors. But the other five Legendary Digi-warriors are not friendly to the human children and are under the command of Kerubimon, one of the three Holy Angel Digimon. The last evil Digi-warrior, Duskmon, is one of the most powerful opponents of the five. But he also seems to have a secret and a special bond with Koji. Not only that, but Kerubimon and later Lucemon are also formidable opponents. Will the five manage to save the Digimon world?

»Digimon« geht in die vierte Runde – mit neuen Charakteren und neuen Digimon! Doch diesmal haben die Menschen keinen Digimonpartner, sondern digitieren selbst zu einem Digimon. Takuya, Koji, J.P., Tommy und Zoe werden von mehreren Trailmon von der Menschenwelt in die Digiwelt gefahren. Zuvor haben die fünf eine Nachricht von einer Frauenstimme auf ihr Handy bekommen und wurden so in die Digiwelt gelockt.

Gleich am Bahnhof der Digiwelt laufen ihnen Bokomon und Neemon über den Weg. Die beiden Digimon werden von einem bösen Digimon verfolgt, das nach einem »Spirit« sucht und auch die vier Menschen angreift. In dem Moment erscheint ein »Spirit«, der Spirit des Feuers, und Takuya kann zu Agunimon digitieren. Das wild gewordene Digimon hat jetzt keine Chance mehr und kann besiegt werden. Nach einem weiteren Kampf treffen sie Koji, der auch nach ein paar weiteren Treffen bei der Gruppe bleibt.

Die fünf Freunde werden von der Frauenstimme aus dem Handy immer weiter geschickt und haben nun die Aufgabe, die Digiwelt zu retten, da jeder der fünf einen Spirit der zehn Legendären Digikrieger besitzt. Doch die anderen fünf Legendären Digikrieger sind den Menschenkindern nicht freundlich gesinnt und stehen unter dem Befehl von Cherubimon, einem der drei Heiligen Engelsdigimon. Der letzte böse Digikrieger, Duskmon, ist einer der mächtigsten Gegner der fünf. Doch er scheint auch ein Geheimnis und eine besondere Bindung zu Koji zu haben. Doch nicht genug, auch Cherubimon und später Lucemon sind ernste Gegner. Werden die fünf es schaffen, die Digi-Welt zu retten?
