Lupin the Third: Swallowtail Tattoo (2004)

The Bulls-Eye is a greenish gemstone that is rumoured to have killed anyone who tried to steal it. During an ordinary robbery for Lupin, he is kidnapped and forced to steal this gem. He recognises his kidnapper from the smoke of his cigarettes but can do nothing. As time goes by, it crystallises more and more that the crooks are only after the fabled “Lupin Collection”, a collection of all the works of art stolen by Lupin. Who is the young, pretty Becky? What is the secret of the Bulls-Eye? And what is the Lupin Collection all about?

Der Bulls-Eye, ein grünlicher Edelstein, über den es das Gerücht gibt, dass jeder der ihn stehlen wollte, den Tod gefunden hat. Während eines, für Lupin normalen, Raubs, wird Lupin selbst entführt und man zwingt ihn, diesen Edelstein zu stehlen. Er erkennt seinen Entführer am Rauch seiner Zigaretten, kann jedoch nichts machen. Mit der Zeit kristallisiert sich immer mehr heraus, dass die Gauner nur hinter der sagenumwobenen Lupin-Sammlung her sind, einer Sammlung aller von Lupin geklauten Kunstwerke. Wer ist die junge, hübsche Becky? Was ist das Geheimnis des Bulls-Eye Edelsteins? Was hat es mit der Lupin-Sammlung auf sich?
