There is only one thing Princess Mia Luna Tearmoon hates more than having to work – the terrible pain she feels when the guillotine chops off her head after a popular uprising. But that is not the end of her life, as she suddenly finds herself in the body of her twelve-year-old self. Nothing has changed in her selfish nature, and although she breaks out in a sweat at the mere thought of how exhausting her life will now be, she decides to lead her country away from the civil war and into more peaceful times. To do this, she enlists the support of her maid, Anne, and a clever minister, Ludwig. Will they succeed in saving the country, or is Mia’s fate already predetermined?

Doch damit ist ihr Leben noch nicht vorbei, denn sie findet sich plötzlich im Körper ihres zwölfjährigen Ichs wieder. An ihrer selbstsüchtigen Art hat sich nichts geändert und obwohl sie alleine bei dem Gedanken, wie anstrengend ihr Leben nun wird, Schweißausbrüche bekommt, beschließt sie, ihr Land fort vom Bürgerkrieg und in friedlichere Zeiten zu führen. Dafür holt sie sich die Unterstützung von ihrem Dienstmädchen Anne und dem cleveren Minister Ludwig. Wird es ihnen gelingen, das Land zu retten, oder ist Mias Schicksal bereits vorherbestimmt?
