Megalobox 2: Nomad (2021)

Seven years have passed since Junk Dog emerged victorious from the Megalonia boxing championship – the very first Megalobox tournament – and thus became a legend. His steep career came to an abrupt end, and his deep fall was as rapid as his ascent at the time. He disappeared from public view and now competes in underground fights. Due to the ghosts of the past haunting him, he is under severe psychological stress and has been addicted to painkillers for a while because of it.

Junk Dog is now known as “Nomad” and like a nomad he roams the country. He is confronted with challenges that are no less difficult to master than those he faced many years ago, when he was still in the boxing ring. During his wanderings he meets a man named Chief, who comes from an immigrant village whose inhabitants must be saved from being driven from their homeland.

Sieben Jahre sind nun vergangen, seitdem Junk Dog siegreich aus der Boxmeisterschaft Megalonia – dem allerersten Turnier der Sportart Megalobox – hervorgegangen war und dadurch zur Legende wurde. Seine steile Karriere fand ein jähes Ende, und sein tiefer Fall verlief genauso schnell wie sein damaliger Aufstieg. Er ist aus dem Blickwinkel der Öffentlichkeit verschwunden und tritt nun bei Untergrundkämpfen an. Aufgrund der Geister der Vergangenheit, die ihn verfolgen, ist er starkem psychischen Stress ausgesetzt und deswegen schon seit einer Weile von Schmerzmitteln abhängig.

Junk Dog ist jetzt unter dem Namen »Nomad« bekannt, und wie ein Nomade streift er durch das Land. Dabei wird er mit Herausforderungen konfrontiert, die nicht weniger schwierig zu bewältigen sind als jene, denen er sich vor vielen Jahren gestellt hatte, als er noch im Boxring stand. Bei seiner Wanderung trifft er unter anderem auf einen Mann namens Chief, der aus einem Immigrantendorf stammt, dessen Bewohner davor bewahrt werden müssen, aus ihrer Heimat vertrieben zu werden.

La sua carriera viene interrotta in modo repentino e la sua discesa è stata veloce quanto la sua ascesa. È sparito dal pubblico e ora disputa combattimenti clandestini. A causa di spiriti del passato che lo perseguitano, è sottoposto ad un forte stress psichico ed è diventato da un po’ di tempo dipendente da antidolorifici.

Junk Dog è è conosciuto come «Nomad» e come un nomade viaggia per il paese. Viene confrontato da sfide che non sono più facili da superare di quelle che affrontava anni fa quando stava nel ring. Durante il suo girovagare incontra un uomo di nome Chief, che discende da un villaggio di immigranti i cui abitanti devono essere preservati dal esser scacciati dalla propria terra.
