Kono Oto Tomare! Sounds of Life (2019)

In “Kono Oto Tomare! Sounds of Life” we follow high-schooler Takezou Kurata, who is the only remaining member of his koto club, after all the previous members—his senpais—successfully graduated. The members of the koto club devoted themselves to playing the traditional Japanese string instrument koto and now, after having “lost” all but one of its members, the club faces its termination. To keep his passion and his club alive Takezou must now find new members for the club, lest it be closed down. One day, completely out of the blue, a young man visits the club room and asks to be admitted as a member of the club!

Will Takezou be able to find more members and keep the club going—especially considering this “fiend” he gained as a new member?!

Seit dem Abschluss der anderen Mitglieder ist Takezou Kurata das einzig verbliebene Mitglied des Koto-Klubs, eines Schulklubs, der sich dem traditionellen japanischen Saiteninstrument Koto widmet. Mit Beginn des neuen Schuljahres muss Takezou nach neuen Mitgliedern suchen, da der Klub ansonsten aufgelöst wird. Bereits am ersten Schultag stolpert aus dem Nichts ein Schüler in den Klubraum, der darum bittet, dem Koto-Klub beizutreten. Hierbei handelt es sich um Chika Kudoo, der eigentlich als Vorzeigedelinquent bekannt ist und nicht als Virtuose am Koto. Kein guter Start für Takezou, doch Hoffnung naht in Form von Satowa Houzuki, die aber mindestens genau so arrogant zu sein scheint, wie meisterhaft sie bereits das Koto beherrscht. Fortan müssen die drei nicht nur lernen, wie man als Gruppe Musik macht, sondern auch, wie man menschlich am besten miteinander umgeht, um eine optimale Atmosphäre im Klub zu schaffen – denn schließlich ist das Ziel kein Geringeres, als die nationalen Meisterschaften zu erreichen!

Dopo il conseguimento del diploma degli altri membri, Takezou è rimasto l’unico membro del club di Koto, un club che si confronta con lo strumento a corde giapponese tradizionale. Con l’inizio del nuovo anno scolastico Takezou deve trovare nuovi membri per evitare la chiusura del club. Dal nulla arriva uno studente nella stanza del club che prega di essere ammesso ad esso. C’è la farà Takezou a mantenere il club, soprattutto con questo mostriciattolo come membro nuovo?
