¡Estás Arrestado! (1994)

“You’re under Arrest!” is about the young patrol officer Natsumi Tsujimoto. However, she has a little problem: she is already threatening to be late on her first day. She promptly decides to take some spontaneous shortcuts that don’t fit in with the traffic in order to arrive on time at the Bokuto police station, her new work place. But, of course, everything goes wrong and Miyuki Kobayakawa, an excellent mechanic and the police’s best driver, gives her a ticket.

Late and depressed, she finally arrives at the station only to find out that, of all people, the policewoman who just gave her a ticket is her new coworker and partner. At first there is an unpleasant tension between the two of them, but soon they become very good friends and form the world’s best team. Whether it’s a traffic accident or a wrong-way driver … the two overcome everything.

In »You’re under Arrest!« geht es um die junge Streifenpolizistin Natsumi Tsujimoto. Allerdings hat sie ein kleines Problem: Es besteht die Gefahr, dass sie schon an ihrem ersten Tag zu spät kommt. Prompt entscheidet sie sich, einige spontane und verkehrswidrige Abkürzungen einzuschlagen, um noch pünktlich im Bokuto Polizeirevier, ihrer neuen Dienststelle, anzukommen. Doch natürlich – wie sollte es auch anders sein – geht das schief und Miyuki Kobayakawa, eine ausgezeichnete Mechanikerin und die beste Fahrerin der Polizei, gibt ihr einen Strafzettel.

Verspätet und deprimiert kommt sie schließlich im Revier an – und ausgerechnet die Polizistin, die ihr gerade noch einen Strafzettel verpasst hat, wird zu ihrer neuen Partnerin! Anfangs herrscht noch eine unangenehme Spannung zwischen den beiden, doch bald werden sie zu guten Freundinnen und bilden das »weltbeste Team«. Egal, ob Verkehrsunfall oder Geisterfahrer … die beiden überstehen gemeinsam einfach alles.
