One Piece: El Barón Omatsuri Y La Isla De Los Secretos (2005)

In “One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island”, the Strawhat Pirates receive an invitation in a bottle that is almost too good to be true: Baron Omatsuri invites them to his holiday island and praises it as the perfect resort, with large baths, sprawling halls, plenty of food and beautiful women as far as the eye can see. As especially Grand Line pirates are welcome, the crew soon sets sail for the island.

At first glance, the jungle island seems deserted, but when the Strawhat Pirates venture into the forest, the invitation looks genuine as they discover a huge holiday resort with many attractions. They are even greeted by the Baron personally, though first, he offers a special experience – a truly “hellish” challenge. Despite some doubts from his crew, Luffy cannot resist because they have already passed more challenging tests.

Soon, however, the Baron shows his true colours: the contests are anything but fair, and escaping the island suddenly seems impossible. Luffy and his friends have no choice but to compete. As the mood among the pirates worsens, a seemingly harmless flower could be the root of all evil …

In »One Piece: Baron Omatsuri und die geheimnisvolle Insel« erreicht die Strohhut-Piratenbande in einer Flasche eine Einladung, die fast schon schön zu ist, um wahr zu sein: Baron Omatsuri lädt auf seine Urlaubsinsel ein und preist diese als perfekten Erholungsort an, mit großen Bädern, ausladenden Hallen, reichlich Essen und schönen Frauen so weit das Auge reicht. Weil insbesondere Grand-Line-Piraten gern gesehen sind, segelt die Crew schon bald Richtung Insel.

Auf den ersten Blick wirkt die Insel mit ihrem Dschungel regelrecht verlassen, doch nachdem die Strohhut-Piraten ins Innere des Waldes vorgedrungen sind, scheint sich die Einladung zu bewahrheiten, erblicken sie tatsächlich ein gewaltiges Urlaubsresort mit zahlreichen Attraktionen. Sie werden vom Baron sogar persönlich begrüßt, doch der bietet zunächst ein besonderes Erlebnis an – ein wahrhaft »höllische« Herausforderung. Trotz Zweifel in der Crew kann Ruffy nicht widerstehen, denn schließlich haben sie schon ganz andere Prüfungen bestanden.

Bald zeigt der Baron aber sein wahres Gesicht: Die Wettkämpfe sind alles andere als fair, ein Entkommen von der Insel scheint plötzlich unmöglich. Ruffy und seinen Freunden bleibt keine andere Wahl, als die Wettkämpfe zu bestreiten. Während die Stimmung zwischen den Piraten immer schlechter wird, könnte eine harmlose wirkende Blume die Wurzel allen Übels sein …
