Sakura, Cazadora de Cartas (1998)

Sinopsis:
Sakura Kinomoto es una niña normal y corriente que asiste a la escuela primaria. Un día, al llegar del colegio, escucha unos ruidos extraños en el sótano. Armada con su bastón de animadora, se decide a bajar para conocer la causa del ruido. Sakura descubre un libro repleto con las cartas Clow. Como niña curiosa agarra una carta, la del viento, provocando la dispersión del resto de la baraja. Esto despierta al guardián de las cartas, un ser amarillo con forma de muñeco, que permaneció dormido hasta ese momento, responsable de los ronquidos atrajeron a Sakura. En vista de las circunstancias, Sakura deberá, con la ayuda del guardián, atrapar todas las cartas y llegar a ser una maestra de cartas. Para esto, Kero- chan (apodo cariñoso dado al guardián keroberos) le entrega una llave que le concederá los poderes para sellar las cartas. Dichas cartas, una vez capturadas, otorgan a Sakura habilidades especiales dependiendo de la naturaleza de la carta.

“Cardcaptors” is about Sakura Kinomoto, an ordinary ten-year-old girl. Her life changes when one day she opens a mysterious book called “The Clow” in her father’s library. The book contains magical cards that immediately scatter to the four winds. At the same time, Cerberos, the guardian of the Clow Cards, who has just taken a “little nap” of 30 years, also awakens. The cards, capable of causing great damage with their magical powers, are gone and must be returned to the book. Cerberos gives Sakura the power to transform herself into a “Card Captor” to recapture the lost cards. And thus begins Sakura’s great adventure, which will come up with many surprises …

She is also supported in her task by Madison Taylor, her best friend, who films Sakura’s every adventure with her camera and makes Sakura great costumes. During her adventure, she also meets Syaoran Li, an exchange student from China and a descendant of Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards, who is also on a quest to find the cards and thus provides strong competition for Sakura.

In »Cardcaptor Sakura« geht es um Sakura Kinomoto, ein ganz normales zehnjähriges Mädchen. Ihr Leben ändert sich, als sie eines Tages in der Bibliothek ihres Vaters ein geheimnisvolles Buch mit dem Titel »The Clow« öffnet. In dem Buch befinden sich magische Karten, die den geöffneten Buchdeckel sofort dazu benutzen, sich in alle vier Windrichtungen aus dem Staub zu machen. Gleichzeitig erwacht auch Kerberos, der Wächter der Clow Cards, der gerade ein kleines Nickerchen von 30 Jahren gemacht hat. Die Karten, die mit ihren magischen Kräften imstande sind große Schäden anzurichten, sind weg und müssen wieder zurück ins Buch. Kerberos verleiht Sakura die Kraft, sich in einen »Card Captor«, eine Kartenfängerin, verwandeln zu können, um die Clow Cards wieder einzufangen. Und damit beginnt für Sakura das große Abenteuer, das mit vielen Überraschungen aufwarten wird …

Bei ihrer Aufgabe wird sie auch von Tomoyo, ihrer besten Freundin, unterstützt, die jedes Abenteuer von Sakura mit der Kamera filmt und Sakura tolle Kostüme schneidert. Während ihres Abenteuers trifft sie außerdem auf Shaoran Li, einem Austauschschüler aus China und einen Nachfahre von Clow Reed, dem Erschaffer der Clow Cards, welcher ebenfalls auf der Suche nach den Clow Cards ist und somit für Sakura eine starke Konkurrenz darstellt.
