Synopsis
17-year-old Suzu lives alone with her father in the countryside after her mother died years ago. She increasingly isolates herself and avoids contact with both her own father and her classmates. Only when a friend persuades her to immerse herself in the virtual world “U”, where anyone can start anew, does her life change. She becomes more full of life, opens up and can finally live out her love of music again. Under the name Belle, she becomes world famous with her U avatar.
But just like the real world, the virtual world also has its downsides. When a user, known to everyone only as “the beast” or “the dragon”, bursts into the middle of one of her concerts, she has to watch as he is chased by the alleged security department of “U”. He manages to escape, but Suzu is fascinated by him and desperately wants to help him. So she sets out to find him …
